Elgin East Townhomes & Condominiums
A New Community in Richmond Hill - Quadrangle Architects
Situated in a predominantly undeveloped block at Bayview Avenue and Elgin Mills Road, the new Elgin East community will be a greenfield construction that fill become an urban catalyst for future developments within the former farm land surrounding the property. The concept for the overall building designs was to implement variety and individuality to the townhomes and condominium unit owners. The Townhomes themselves offer a unique articulation of geometric arrangements on the residential street facades, with each unit framed with an inviting portal as the main access for all each of the tenants for the stacked floors. Totalling 3 storeys above grade, and a submerged lower level, the entire complex also is connect by a continuous below grade parkade which extends underneath all 15 blocks and 2 condominiums.
