Hospital and Rehabilitation Complex (Feasibility Study) - B+H Architects
The concept of this proposal is to create an integrated rehabilitation and healthcare complex, that would take advantage of the island of Barbados' unique coastal beauty as a source of the healing process. With an interconnected series of facilities, a campus is formed along a central vehicular access from the main coastal road, where a series of drop-off zones can direct patients into their respective appointments and recovery areas. With a rehabilitation centre, hospital & clinic, and adjacent recovery resort residences and hotel, the project is a harmonious balance between clinical care and health tourism for which the island has become a destination for due to its world class healthcare and beautiful natural landscapes.
