Uxbridge Health Centre
New Healthcare Campus for the Town of Uxbridge - B+H Architects
The Uxbridge Health Centre is an ambitious project that will become the new home for Uxbridge's primary healthcare clinic, as well as an extension of the adjacent Uxbridge Cottage Hospital. The medical office component on the second level will comprise of 25 patient examination rooms, 2 consultation rooms, small procedures, new central nursing stations, and association administrative support spaces. Ground level will include a Diagnostics Imaging department operated by Markham Stouffville Hospital Corporation, with a direct link to the existing hospital, and integrated passage for the on site heliport. Additional retail tenant spaces will be accessed from the main atrium of the building, a double height space which will become the prominent address and way finding for the facility. The Uxbridge Health Centre is a part of the larger Markham Stouffville Hospital masterplan for the town of Uxbridge, and will become an integral component of the healthcare campus being planned for the community.
