Saadiyat Beach Neighbourhood (Abu Dhabi, UAE) - B+H Architects
B+H Architects has been awarded the masterplan development, landscape, building and interior design contract for a new urban hub located in Saadiyat Islands in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The project design team was inspired by the unique relationship between the land and water in the project, and had divided the site into two districts, Sunrise and Sunset. The buildings are designed to take advantage of passive environmental benefits from their orientation, arrangement, and fenestration detailing. Ornamented with local stone and prefabricated precast panels, as well as integrated shading screens, the architectural language of each building helps to differentiate each block while allowing the benefits of design elements to be enjoyed by all properties on the site. The elegant design of the homes, the combination of a natural environment and waterfront lifestyle, a family-focused design and easy access to Abu Dhabi and Dubai’s business hubs, will ensure that the future community will become both a home and destination for urban life in one of the world's fastest developing regions.
